2023 Spring Student Satisfaction Survey Highlights Stellar Improvement Across All AF Departments

Student Survey

The University of Houston's annual spring satisfaction survey yielded positive improvement marks for the Division of Administration and Finance. This survey was distributed to all enrolled students at the University of Houston, University of Houston at Sugar Land, and University of Houston at Katy, with 6,458 students responding for a 14.7 percent response rate, the highest ever for the annual satisfaction survey.

Students received 13 satisfaction-related questions and were able to score them on a 5-point scale, with one being the lowest and five the highest. The survey ran from February 27 to March 12.

Administration and Finance departments were rated in the following categories: technology services, campus safety, food service, academic spaces, availability of parking, outdoor spaces, and campus shuttle service and saw year over year improvement across all categories, with the most significant improvement in academic spaces, outdoor spaces, and technology services. For most categories, 2023 satisfaction scores were also their highest since 2019, reflecting the division’s priority on continuous improvement efforts.
